€ 8000,00 (incl. 19% VAT, for EU citizens) € 6720,00 (excl. 19% VAT, for non EU citizens) See also Terms and Conditions. -THE ORIGINAL- the original instrument is part of the collection in the "Historisches Museum Basel" and is dated 1712. -ABOUT CLAUDE PIERRAY- Worked in Paris, born in 1698. During his life he probably enjoyed high esteem. The existence of a apprenticeship-contract he signed as a chartered master with Guillaume Barbey seems to prove this. He died an unmarried man, leaving behind only his housekeeper and some aprentices in 1729. -ABOUT THE PICTURES- The thumbnails on this page which can be enlarged by clicking on them, show you the Pierray model I have made. The name of the set of thumbnails is the family-name of the first owner of that particular viol. This instrument was built in 1992. In 2004 Mrs Bakker came to me with her instrument to have it serviced. It was then, that I took the opportunity to photograph it. |
